Hi! I am Salla, a service and user experience designer based in Espoo, Finland.

I currently work as a service designer at Ericsson, concentrating on a professional tool that incorporates multiple complex use cases and interactions. I strongly think design of services as well as physical products should always be based on comprehensive understanding of the user. I enjoy delving deeper into people's motivations and needs, understanding why they act as they do.

I am a essentially a team player, but at the same time, I do not shy away from taking responsibility and getting the job done solo when required. Thanks to my good communication skills, I often act as a translator between business, design and engineering, in order to achieve consensus and the best possible end result for my customers.

 

I like collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds and different perspectives. In my opinion, escape rooms illustrate this in a very good way: in a good team you have also people who get the problems you just don't understand, and you can do the same for them. Team members complement each other and the team is able to achieve it's goals better, more effectively and especially in escape rooms – faster.
